The Jamma Foundation
Jamming for Appalachian Multi-Media Artists.
Our mission is to give a scholarship to one music student and one art student in every county in the Appalachian region.
We gave away our first scholarships in 2023 to one music student and one art student in Jefferson County, West Virginia.
We are currently raising funds to give away our next scholarships in 2024. Will you help us award at least two more students 2024 and expand our scholarship to more counties?
We strive to help young Appalachian musicians and artists pursue their creative passions!
What is The JAMMA scholarship?
The JAMMA Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 2019 by Elise and Eric Olmstead. The JAMMA scholarship is a one time payment of $1000 awarded to one music student and one art student per county.
We awarded our first students in our home of Jefferson County, WV, in 2023, and hope to expand to both Jefferson and Berkeley County, WV, in 2024.
Our goal is to give away a pair of scholarships to music and art students in every county of Appalachia.
How to Apply:
Applications are not currently available, as we need more funds in order to reward students in 2024. Please help by making a donation.
